AbeloHost VPS pricing by tier
AbeloHost's SafeVPS costs €9.99 a month for 1 GB of RAM, one 2.40 GHz core, 15 GB of SSD, one IP address and unmetered traffic. Every VPS comes with root access, free backups and the same management service. The line climbs to €299.99 for 64 GB of RAM and 13 cores.
| Plan | Monthly price | RAM and cores | Disk |
|---|---|---|---|
| SafeVPS | €9.99 | 1 GB, 1 core | 15 GB SSD |
| SecureVPS | €19.99 | 2 GB, 2 cores | 25 GB SSD |
| ProVPS | €39.99 | 8 GB, 4 cores | 120 GB SSD |
| StoragePro | €39.99 | 4 GB, 2 cores | 200 GB SAS |
| StorageUltra | €159.99 | 16 GB, 7 cores | 800 GB SAS |
The three storage plans swap SSD for larger, slower SAS disks, which makes them the sensible pick for a growing video library. Port speed on the VPS range is not stated, only that traffic is unmetered. All prices are in euros with no dollar option and no word on VAT, so a US or Indian buyer pays whatever their card charges for the conversion.
A GPU VPS range is listed at €135 to €195 a month, but all six machines are marked "Coming soon" and cannot be ordered.
Why the shared plans don't work for video
AbeloHost's cheapest shared plan, SafeWeb at €6.99 a month, includes 50 GB of bandwidth. A 200 MB clip watched 250 times uses all of it. Higher tiers raise the cap without removing it: 120 GB, 350 GB, 1,000 GB at €24.99, up to 4,000 GB at €99.99.
What the shared range does offer is cPanel, a dedicated IPv4 address on every tier, CloudLinux and a choice of PHP, Node.js, Python and Ruby versions, with 5 to 140 sites per account. Shared and VPS nodes are all in the Netherlands.
Dedicated servers stay at 1 Gbps
Dutch dedicated servers run from €104.99 for an eight-core Opteron with 16 GB of RAM to €1,349.99 for a dual Epyc 9754 box. All of them share one network spec: a 1 Gbps unmetered port and 40 Gbps of DDoS filtering. A faster CPU buys no extra throughput. The homepage advertises dedicated servers "from €99.99", a price the catalog doesn't carry.
Poland (from €134.99), Malaysia (from €174.99) and Czechia (from €189.99) give more RAM for the money, 64 GB and two 500 GB NVMe drives at the Polish entry price, but DDoS protection there is listed only as "Basic". Dedicated servers are never refundable.
What AbeloHost won't host
AbeloHost turns away sites tied to payment processing or any financial operation, mass mailing, reverse proxies, TOR nodes and unlicensed IPTV. It keeps the final word on what it hosts and can suspend an account without notice. File sharing and anonymous proxies are treated as resource abuse. A paysite that hands billing to a third-party processor is fine. A self-hosted checkout page or a newsletter server needs another host.
No DMCA or copyright complaint procedure is published.
AbeloHost's privacy pitch and its ID clause
The marketing promises anonymity. The terms let AbeloHost suspend or terminate an account, without notice, if the customer refuses to provide personal information, "proof of ID or passport" included. Crypto payments are accepted, but anything bought with crypto is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The 30-day money-back guarantee covers shared and VPS plans, and the window reopens on each renewal. It excludes dedicated servers, domains, control panel licenses and add-ons.
Billing rules are strict. An invoice unpaid three days past due allows suspension or termination, data included. A chargeback or PayPal dispute opened without contacting support first counts as a breach: the account is blocked, card checkout is disabled and data may be deleted.
Customers in 26 countries and regions under US sanctions are refused, including Russia, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela.
Is AbeloHost legit?
AbeloHost is run by a registered Dutch company, Abelohost B.V., at Daalwijkdreef 47 in Amsterdam, chamber of commerce number 57218153, and says it has operated since 2012. Its public contacts are nonetheless a Gmail address and a Dutch mobile number.
Server management is included on every plan: setup, migration, monitoring, hardening, encrypted backups, malware scans, performance tuning and database work. Migration of an existing site is free. For a site owner with no sysadmin skills, that is where most of the value lies.
The marketing figures don't line up. The About page claims 25,000+ customers near the top and more than 75,000 further down, and the management page says 100,000+. Uptime is 99.99% on the homepage and 99.9% in the management feature list. The acceptable use policy excludes hardware failures, cable cuts and DDoS attacks from any downtime credit calculation. Data centers are described as "ISO 271011" certified, a standard number that does not exist.

AbeloHost vs Vicetemple
Vicetemple, an adult-only host also in Amsterdam, prices in dollars: its Play Bunny shared plan is $6 a month with 15 GB of SSD and no stated traffic limit, so a small shared site avoids AbeloHost's cap. Its first VPS costs $28 a month for 2 GB of RAM on a 100 Mbps port. For a managed VPS under ten euros, AbeloHost is the cheaper of the two.
