Advanced Hosting review: Amsterdam servers for adult video

advancedhosting.com

Advanced Hosting is a Dutch infrastructure provider with three linked data centers in Amsterdam. Its dedicated servers there cost €249 to €583 a month with 20 TB of traffic and a 10 Gbps link, and its video CDN is billed per terabyte in dollars.

Our verdict on Advanced Hosting

Advanced Hosting fits an established tube or VOD platform that needs real throughput in Amsterdam and a volume-priced CDN behind it. A 10 Gbps link comes with every Amsterdam server, where many offshore hosts cap dedicated boxes at 1 Gbps.

It is the wrong pick for a small site, since there is no shared hosting and servers start around €209 a month.

The three ready-to-order Amsterdam builds cost €249, €382 and €583 a month, each with 20 TB of traffic, a 10 Gbps link, two IPv4 addresses and no setup fee.

ServerRAMStorageMonthly
AMD EPYC 7252, 8 cores64 GB2 × 960 GB NVMe€249
Intel Gold 6244, 8 cores256 GB5.72 TB SSD€382
AMD EPYC 7513, 32 cores256 GB14.72 TB NVMe€583

DDoS filtering of 10 Gbps per IP is included, the uptime SLA is 99.985% and failed hardware is replaced within six hours. Servers sit in three Digital Realty and Equinix facilities linked by dark fiber and peered at AMS-IX, DE-CIX and NL-IX. Custom builds go up to 400 Gbps of private networking.

The homepage tells a slightly different story: servers from €209 a month, one of them at €259 with a 1 Gbps uplink, provisioned within five business days, with no location given. Since the Amsterdam page promises 10 Gbps on every deployment, confirm price and port speed on the quote. Prices are in euros, excluding VAT and sales tax, so US and Indian buyers pay their card's conversion rate.

What the Advanced Hosting video CDN costs

Advanced Hosting's video CDN costs $3.80 per TB for the first 100 TB each month, stepping down to $2.00 per TB past 1,000 TB. Storing video on the CDN costs $15 per TB a month.

The tiers in between are $3.40 for the next 100 TB, $3.00 for the next 200 TB and $2.50 for the next 600 TB. A tube pushing 500 TB a month pays $1,570 for delivery: $380, $340, $600 and $250 across the four tiers it touches. An anycast CDN for small files is also sold, at one flat price worldwide.

Cancellation, price increases and suspension

  • Cancellation: the service renews automatically, and you must give at least 60 days notice before renewal to leave.
  • Price increases: you can only object to a new agreement version if charges rise by more than 10% for reasons other than taxes or supplier costs.
  • Identity checks: new accounts may go through a know-your-customer procedure.
  • Reversed payments: an admin fee of up to €100 applies.
  • Suspension: service can be cut if continuing it could expose Advanced Hosting to a third-party claim, such as a copyright complaint.

The abuse handling policy softens that last point. Advanced Hosting says it will generally warn before suspending, except in exceptional cases or under legal obligation, that a complaint usually takes 24 hours or more to review, and that customers have six months to contest a decision. A 2025 DSA transparency report is published.

Who is behind Advanced Hosting?

The ISO 27001, ISO 9001, PCI DSS and SOC certifications it lists belong to the data centers it uses.

Advanced Hosting vs AbeloHost

AbeloHost rents Dutch dedicated servers from €104.99 a month with server management included and an unmetered 1 Gbps port. For a site still growing, that is less than half the price. Advanced Hosting earns its premium once traffic outgrows 1 Gbps.
