Turnkey Adult Sites

A turnkey adult website hands you a working paysite, creator platform or escort site without building the software yourself. Vendors here rent hosted platforms by the month, run your site for a cut of sales, license scripts you install on your own server, or build custom platforms to order. Three things set their offers apart: who holds the merchant account, how the bill grows once the site starts selling, and how much of the code, domain and content stays with you if you leave.

Types of turnkey adult websites

A turnkey adult website is an adult site delivered ready to launch, with the software, layout, members area and payment system already wired together. The owner adds a brand and the content. Behind that one label sit several business models that deliver different things and tie you in to different degrees.

The oldest model is the done-for-you affiliate site. The vendor builds a site under your name, fills it with videos, cam feeds and banners supplied by affiliate programs, and you earn commission when visitors subscribe to those programs. The site sells nothing of its own, and the same feeds power every other site built this way.

Next comes the hosted platform. A software company runs a paysite engine on its own servers and rents you an instance pointed at your domain. Hosting, video encoding, the members area and updates are included. Depending on the vendor, you pay a monthly fee, a percentage of sales, or both.

A licensed script works the other way round. You buy the paysite or creator platform software, often for a one-time fee, and install it on a server you rent yourself. Some vendors handle installation. Server upkeep, backups and security stay with you.

Custom development is the last option. An agency builds the platform, either as a white label copy of its own base or from scratch. Projects outside the usual formats, such as AI companion platforms, go this route, and it takes the longest to deliver.

Which model fits depends on what you sell. A creator posting original videos needs a members area and payment processing. A studio selling clips one by one needs pay-per-view. An independent escort wants profiles, a touring calendar and client screening.

How much a turnkey adult website costs: license, subscription or revenue share

Turnkey adult website pricing comes in three forms that vendors often stack: a one-time fee, a monthly subscription and a cut of every sale. The price on the homepage usually shows only one of them.

One-time fees apply to scripts and custom builds. You pay for a license or a delivered project, then cover hosting, updates after the included period and any feature added later. Script vendors often sell whatever is missing from the public demo as paid add-ons, and that add-on list is where the real quote takes shape.

Monthly subscriptions fund hosted platforms. The fee scales with storage, bandwidth and unlocked features. Entry plans may leave out pay-per-view, cap storage or bill every overage, so check that the plan supports your sales model before comparing starting prices.

Revenue share is how platforms with no setup fee get paid. The vendor first deducts card processing fees, then keeps a percentage of what remains, sometimes on a sliding scale that drops as revenue grows. It costs little while the site sells little, and the bill rises with every sale. Past a certain volume a flat monthly fee works out cheaper, and a few platforms offer both plans so you can switch.

Some costs rarely make the sales page: a rolling reserve held back for several weeks against chargebacks, fees on each payout, domain renewals and storage beyond the plan. Work out the real cost over a full year of operation at the sales volume you are aiming for.

Payment processing, hosting and age verification on a turnkey site

Payment processing divides turnkey offers more than anything else. Banks treat adult content sales as high risk, and only specialist processors will open a merchant account for an adult site. Turnkey vendors handle this in two ways.

In the first, the platform collects payments for you. Subscribers pay into its merchant account, it keeps its share and pays out the balance. You skip the processor application, and in exchange you depend on its payout schedule. PaysiteManager works like this and does not allow billing outside its own system.

In the second, you open your own account with an adult processor and the platform connects to it. The processor relationship, payment data and sales history stay in your name if you move to other software. PornCMS takes this approach, charging no percentage on sales and setting up whichever processor the owner picks. A third variant locks you into a single processor that publishes no rates, which leaves your processing cost unknown until you get it in writing.

Hosting comes bundled with platforms, within the storage and bandwidth limits of the plan. With a script you rent it yourself, from a host that allows adult content, which many mainstream hosts forbid. Video accounts for most of the traffic, and platforms often deliver it through a CDN.

Age verification for visitors is now required in the UK, France and a growing number of US states for any site showing pornographic content. Some platforms build it in, occasionally billing per check, while others let the owner plug in a provider. In the United States, producers must also keep records proving the age and consent of everyone on camera. A platform that stores those records and moderates uploads lightens the workload, and legal responsibility for the site still rests with its owner.

A platform launches empty and you supply the content. A done-for-you affiliate site arrives full of partner videos and cams that you do not own, and they vanish whenever the program pulls them.

Domain, source code and content ownership before you sign

Register the domain in your own name, under a registrar account you control. It is the address your members remember and the one Google has indexed. A vendor that registers it for you can hold on to it in a dispute, and a site running on a vendor subdomain cannot be moved at all.

Source code is rarely handed over. Hosted platforms supply none. Some script vendors ship compiled or obfuscated code, or keep editable code for their top tier. Without editable code, every new feature goes through the vendor at the vendor’s rates. The license also sets how many sites you may run, and it can be narrower than the sales page suggests.

Photos and videos you upload should remain yours, yet some terms of service transfer rights in uploaded files to the vendor. Read that clause before sending the first file, since it covers everything already published.

You should know who you are paying. Several vendors in this market list no company name or address while taking a large upfront fee or a share of monthly revenue. Ask in writing for the name of the billing company and the country where it is registered.

Before signing, also ask what you can take with you: your member list, your videos in their original format, your sales history, and how long the site stays online after cancellation. Recurring subscriptions usually stay tied to the merchant account that created them, so members of a platform that bills on your behalf often have to sign up again on the new site.
