You can run your own broadcasts or display models from partner networks. Those choices call for different infrastructure and day-to-day operations.

FluffCams

fluffvision.com

A lifetime licence at $499, native WebRTC, code open for the most part, and three ways to buy. One clause to read before paying: disputes go before courts of the vendor's choosing, and the vendor names neither itself nor its country.

PluginCams

plugincams.com

PluginCams broadcasts nothing and hosts no models. It is a WordPress plugin that displays other networks' models and monetises them through affiliate links. One hundred and forty nine dollars for twenty five sites, unusually clear terms, and no identifiable company.

ClickCastX

clickcastx.com

The only one in its category to host everything for you, ClickCastX delivers a webcam site ready the same day, Wowza included, from 199 dollars a month. Its code stays closed, which it says plainly, and its hosted versions are never refundable.

Ayazer

ayazer.com

Ayazer bundles its own streaming server, which is rare and removes the cost line most buyers discover after the fact. But its page promises open source code that the contract locks down with rights management and a ban on derivative works.

VideoWhisper

videowhisper.com

VideoWhisper publishes a free GPL WordPress plugin for paid webcam sites, which no terms can restrict once it runs on your server. Their streaming hosting, however, bars adult content, so the server has to come from somewhere else.

Your own models or network feeds

PluginCams displays third-party networks’ models in WordPress and earns through affiliate links, without hosting or streaming its own models. Ayazer, ClickCastX and VideoWhisper address the need for a streaming platform. Your choice changes recruitment, operating work and dependence on external networks.

Whether streaming is included

Ayazer bundles its streaming server. ClickCastX includes Wowza in hosted plans, but its lifetime licence requires Wowza without supplying it. VideoWhisper needs a separate server, and the publisher’s own hosting prohibits adult content. Compare the same scope of software, streaming and website hosting across offers.

Code access and licence rights

Ayazer advertises open code, while its agreement restricts derivative works and makes the licence non-transferable. FluffCams leaves much of its code open, with a licence for one domain or server. ClickCastX states that its code is closed. These conditions affect customisation and any later sale of the site.
