What the €12.90 PrivateAlps VPS includes
The cheapest PrivateAlps Linux VPS costs €12.90 a month for 2 cores, 1 GB of RAM, 30 GB of SSD, 2 TB of traffic on a 100 Mbps port and its own IPv4 address. Plans run up to €100 a month for 10 cores, 16 GB and 150 GB with 12 TB of traffic. All include root access, custom ISO installs, optional full disk encryption and basic layer 3 and 4 DDoS filtering. You can pick Zurich or Frankfurt at the same price, and pay for one to eighteen months at a time.
- V2.CH, €25: 4 cores, 2 GB, 45 GB SSD, 3 TB at 200 Mbps.
- V3.CH, €35: 6 cores, 4 GB, 60 GB SSD, 5 TB at 200 Mbps.
- V4.CH, €60: 8 cores, 6 GB, 80 GB SSD, 7 TB at 300 Mbps.
- V5.CH, €75: 10 cores, 8 GB, 100 GB SSD, 10 TB at 300 Mbps.
An NVMe line starts at €15. Traffic is capped on every VPS, so a tube that outgrows 2 TB a month has to move up a plan. Shared cPanel hosting starts higher, at €14 for a single domain and 50 GB on a shared IP, with unmetered traffic and access logs anonymized by default. For a small adult site that fits in 30 GB, the VPS costs less and keeps you off an IP shared with unknown neighbours.
Does PrivateAlps really ignore DMCA notices?
Yes. PrivateAlps sells its VPS and server plans as DMCA-ignored. The hard limits are child sexual abuse material, drug or weapon sales, terrorism and hate speech, spam, phishing and launching DDoS attacks.
PrivateAlps can still act immediately on abuse complaints, on requests from Swiss police or on anything that puts its network at risk, and can suspend a service without notice. A server that draws a lot of complaints can also be repriced, and the host asks customers to get in touch before ordering for a project likely to attract them. A tube that mirrors third-party videos should ask before paying.
Paying PrivateAlps in crypto, with no refunds
PrivateAlps takes Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum, PerfectMoney and more than 50 other cryptocurrencies through its own payment gateway, and every payment is final. An account needs a name, which can be a pseudonym, an email address and the transaction ID.
A deposit stays on the account even if you never order. If a service fails because of an issue on PrivateAlps' side, you usually get account credit, which cannot be cashed out unless the host approves a refund to the original wallet. An unpaid service is suspended after a three-day grace period and can be deleted 24 hours later, with no data recovery. A paid priority ticket targets a response within 10 hours and a fix within 24, with the fee returned if either is missed.
PrivateAlps bare metal and Tor hosting
Dedicated servers start at €160 a month for dual Xeon X5670 processors, 96 GB of DDR3, a 1 TB SSD and an unmetered 1 Gbps port, with five IPv4 addresses and a three-month minimum. The high-end line starts at €365 on dual Xeon E5-2680 v4 and reaches €1,299 with an unmetered 20 Gbps port. Bare metal is set up by hand within 24 to 48 hours, while a VPS is live in 2 to 10 minutes. Onion hidden services cost €30 to €80 a month for one to five addresses.
Who is behind PrivateAlps?
The site names no company, address or registration number, and has been online since 2020. PrivateAlps presents itself as a Swiss provider and says it only hands over data on an order from a Swiss judge. Support runs through tickets and Telegram, and the site keeps an onion mirror.
What PrivateAlps customers complain about
PrivateAlps scores 3.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 90 reviews, with 79% five-star and 19% one-star ratings. The one-star reviews, from 2024 to 2026, describe servers delivered days late, repeated downtime, and VPS or accounts closed with no refund. PrivateAlps has replied to most of them, disputing several and pointing to its grace periods and no-refund terms. Paying for one month first, and keeping your own backups, limits what a dispute can cost you.
