HostMeNow review: no-KYC offshore hosting, check the cart

hostmenow.org

HostMeNow has sold offshore hosting from the Netherlands since 2018, payable in more than 140 cryptocurrencies with no ID check. Offshore cPanel starts at $7 a month at checkout, but the sales pages quote other prices and part of the VPS and dedicated range is out of stock.

Our take on HostMeNow

HostMeNow suits a small adult blog, landing page or gallery that wants cPanel in the Netherlands, paid in crypto, without handing over ID. Offshore shared hosting is in stock.

It is a weaker choice for a busy tube that needs a big server, since most dedicated machines are sold out, or for anyone who needs support outside 9 am to 5 pm London time. Trust the cart price, never the price on a sales page.

Does HostMeNow ignore DMCA notices?

A separate page sells hosting that dismisses DMCA notices unless a court compels action. The terms still forbid hosting copyrighted material you do not own, or anything illegal under UK law or the law of the server's country, and an IP listed on Spamhaus or similar blacklists can get the account closed.

HostMeNow pricing: which number is real?

At checkout, HostMeNow's four offshore cPanel plans cost $7, $13, $26 and $66 a month, or €6, €12, €23 and €59. The sales pages quote the same plans at €5 to €40 on the adult page, €5.85 to €46.80 on the DMCA page and €6 to €45 on the offshore page. Only the cart price is charged.

The cart also prices in rupees, with the entry plan at ₹637 a month, as well as pounds and reais. The plans run cPanel with LiteSpeed and CloudLinux, free SSL, JetBackup and over 300 one-click scripts, from 10 GB and 500 GB of transfer up to 100 GB with unlimited bandwidth. There is no setup fee, and the code SAFE gives a free first month of web hosting. Standard hosting in Finland starts at €4 and Tor hosting for .onion sites at €12.

HostMeNow VPS and dedicated servers in stock

Offshore VPS plans run from $7 or €6 a month for 1 GB, one core and 20 GB of SSD up to €187 for 32 GB, with ports up to 1 Gbps. The 4, 16 and 32 GB plans show "0 Available" at checkout. The 1, 2 and 8 GB plans can be ordered.

Of seven dedicated servers in the Netherlands, all with DDR3, a 1 Gbps port and 100 TB of transfer, five are sold out. The two left are dual Xeon E5-2680 v3 machines at €281 a month with 64 GB and €351 with 128 GB.

Paying in crypto and getting money back

HostMeNow lists more than 140 cryptocurrencies, Monero included, plus cards, PayPal and regional methods such as Paytm, iDEAL and Russian wallets, with no KYC. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers web hosting only, for first-time customers, and a purchase paid in crypto is refunded as account credit rather than coins.

Who runs HostMeNow, and when support answers

The contracting company is HostMeNow LTD, company number 12008220, at 27 Old Gloucester Street in London. Offshore services run from Eygelshoven in the Netherlands and standard hosting from near Pori, Finland. Support works by chat and ticket from 9 am to 5 pm GMT, and the contact page states that 24/7 support is not available. Its own Trustpilot profile says the company started in 2011, while the about page says it has operated since 2018, and the site advertises "5,000+ positive reviews". HostMeNow holds 4.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 84 reviews and 4.9 out of 5 on HostAdvice, mixing expert scores and 32 reviews.

HostMeNow strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Crypto payments with no ID check.
  • Offshore cPanel from $7, always in stock.
  • Tor hosting for an .onion mirror.

Limitations

  • Four prices for one plan across the site.
  • Five of seven dedicated servers sold out.
  • Support from 9 to 5 GMT only.
  • Crypto refunds as account credit.

HostMeNow vs AlexHost

AlexHost sells VPS plans from €6 in Moldova from its own data center and releases no client data without a Moldovan court order, though its customer ratings are poor. HostMeNow offers cPanel in the Netherlands at a similar entry price with anonymous payment, but thinner stock on servers.
