Worldstream review: Dutch dedicated servers from €49.50

worldstream.com

Worldstream has rented servers from its own data centers in Naaldwijk, in the Netherlands, since 2006. Dedicated servers start at €49.50 a month and VPS plans at €5.19, every server gets 20 Gbps of DDoS protection.

Our verdict on Worldstream

Worldstream is a solid pick for an adult webmaster who can run their own server and wants cheap European bare metal with generous traffic and DDoS filtering.

Look elsewhere if you need anonymity or plan to stream videos you do not hold licenses for. Worldstream checks customer identity, and it is a general-purpose host with nothing built for the adult industry.

Worldstream dedicated server pricing

The cheapest Worldstream dedicated server costs €49.50 a month plus a €99 setup fee: a custom-built Dell R240 with a 6-core Xeon E-2236 and 50 TB of traffic on a 1 Gbps port. Custom builds go live within 24 hours. Pre-configured servers skip the setup fee and go live within two hours, starting at €58 a month for the same Dell with 32 GB of RAM and two 2 TB hard drives.

  • AMD EPYC 4245P, 6 cores, 32 GB, two 2 TB NVMe drives, 50 TB: €119 a month.
  • AMD Ryzen 9 9900X, 12 cores, 64 GB, two 2 TB NVMe drives, 100 TB: €139 a month.
  • Uplinks go up to 10 Gbps, with traffic bundles from 50 TB to 500 TB.

The catalog lists 31 models, 29 in the Netherlands and two in Germany, the German ones starting at €349. Every server includes 20 Gbps of DDoS mitigation, on a network Worldstream rates at more than 1 Tbps of mitigation capacity.

Is Worldstream DMCA-ignored?

No. Worldstream acts on valid copyright notices, but in 2025 it took action on only 13.3% of the 5,074 copyright and trademark notices it received. Most of the rest were misdirected: across all rejected notices, 34.6% targeted content not hosted on its network, 25.9% did not identify the content and 19.8% lacked evidence. The median time from notice to action was 48 hours, or 24 hours for trusted flaggers under the EU Digital Services Act.

Out of 8,265 notices in total that year, copyright made up 61.4%.

Any streaming must rely on licenses from the rights holders. Worldstream does not monitor content, but it can suspend a service on a suspected violation and must explain why. Every order also goes through a know-your-customer check, and Worldstream can withdraw an offer or end a service if your identity is in doubt.

Worldstream VPS plans

VPS plans start at €5.19 a month excluding VAT for 1 vCPU, 2 GB of RAM and 40 GB of SSD, and the Standard line tops out at €41.55 for 8 vCPUs and 16 GB. The NVMe Performance line runs from €10.31 to €164.99. A firewall, DDoS filtering and the first IPv4 address are included, while backups are a paid add-on.

Without a term in the order, a contract runs for twelve months and renews automatically, with one month's notice to cancel. Data is wiped 30 days after the service ends.

Strengths and limitations of Worldstream

Strengths

  • Cheap bare metal with 50 TB of traffic included.
  • 20 Gbps DDoS protection on every server.
  • Self-owned data centers in the Netherlands.
  • A public report on how abuse notices are handled.

Limitations

  • ID verification on every order.
  • A twelve-month default term that renews itself.
  • Licenses required for any video streaming.
  • No adult-specific offer.

Worldstream vs MojoHost for a tube

MojoHost rents servers from $39 or €39 a month with 2 EPYC cores, 8 GB and 250 GB of NVMe, but includes 324 TB of transfer and has locations in Michigan, Miami and the Netherlands. A traffic-heavy tube gets far more bandwidth for the money at MojoHost. Worldstream gives more CPU and storage for a site that needs computing power more than transfer.
