Which markets Adult Translations covers
Adult Translations lists 42 target languages and splits several of them by country: Brazilian and European Portuguese, Latin American and European Spanish, Canadian and European French, simplified and traditional Chinese. For an American cam or dating site, the Brazil and Latin America options matter most, since a profile written for Madrid reads oddly in São Paulo or Mexico City.
The list also includes Hindi and Tamil for India, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Arabic, plus most European languages. A language that is missing can be requested, as the translator network is growing. The agency says it handles mainstream work too, though the site is built around adult clients.
Adult Translations pricing per word
Adult Translations charges €0.08 a word for video titles, descriptions and subtitles, €0.22 a word for landing pages, and €0.14 a word for everything else. That middle rate covers site copy and SEO keywords, affiliate offers and ads, payment pages, dating profiles, erotic product packaging and magazine articles. Landing page work includes headline and call-to-action variants for A/B testing.
In practice, 1,000 video titles of eight words come to €640, and a 400-word landing page costs €88.
The grid is a starting point. The final quote comes by email for each project, and the agency says it can lower the rate on large monthly volumes without publishing any tiers. It also credits recent translation tools for keeping prices down, without saying which ones.
Turnaround: 48 hours for short jobs
One Adult Translations linguist handles 1,000 to 1,500 words a day, so a project under 1,500 words ships in 48 hours. A 100,000-word catalog is 67 to 100 working days for a single translator, and the site does not say how many people a large job gets. Ask for the team size and a firm date with the quote.
A free test lowers the risk. Send a short excerpt of your own content, and if the result disappoints, you pay nothing. Twenty video titles or one model bio is enough to judge a language.
What the translation samples show
The site posts six sample translations from English, three into French and three into Latin American Spanish. In each language, two are explicit scene descriptions and the third is a corporate text on electrical safety.
The explicit texts keep the crude register intact. One flaw stands out: the corporate sample labeled as the French translation is the English source pasted again, word for word. The Spanish version of the same text is properly translated. The other 40 languages on the list have no sample, though more can be requested.
Ordering from Adult Translations without a contract
Everything goes through a single email address. The contact form was switched off because of spam, and there is no client area or online checkout. None of the four pages on the site covers terms of sale, confidentiality of the files you send or ownership of the finished translation.
The home page still promises three quality levels, round-the-clock online ordering and custom API integrations. The same three claims appeared in an XBIZ profile in 2016, and no page explains them today: no level has a price, no order form exists and no API is documented.
Before sending unreleased content, get three things in writing by email: confidentiality, a firm delivery date and who owns the translation.
Is Adult Translations legit?
Adult Translations has a documented history in the adult trade since 2015, but its site names no company, address or manager. Trade press fills part of the gap. In August 2016, XBIZ described a seven-person team in Bratislava, Slovakia, launched in October 2015 alongside a general agency called Localization Guru, with clients including Flirt4Free and BitterStrawberry. The startup site 150sec named the two founders in 2015, Slavomir Hruska and Pavel Svitek.
That information is close to ten years old. The client featured today is TSNUDE, a trans cam site, for translating Latina model profiles and training a bot that translates live chat. The pricing and sample pages have not changed since December 2023.
