Our verdict on GlobalBX

GlobalBX works as an extra, free showcase for a seller who already lists an adult site or club elsewhere. Listing is free, the sale is commission-free, and there is an adult section.

It is no substitute for an industry marketplace: the section mixes stale and off-topic listings, GlobalBX checks neither members nor listings, and no company is named.

Listing a business on GlobalBX

Every GlobalBX service has been free since 2001: signup, listing and buyer contact. You create an account, fill in a form and can add up to three photos of 50 KB each. Buyers reach you through a Contact Seller button, and no commission is taken on the sale.

Business brokers register for free too, post unlimited listings and get a profile in the Professionals Directory, which claims over 6,753 brokers and agents. A seller who wants representation can look for one there, though none is screened for adult-industry experience.

What the Adult Shops section holds

The “Adult Shops, Adult Stores, Erotica Related Adult Businesses” section lists 101 businesses: strip clubs, adult stores, an escort agency, video companies, a few adult websites and domain portfolios, alongside unrelated ads such as a pilot car service or marquee letter rentals.

Some listings are old. One offers a Phoenix adult website for $10,000, popular from 2002 to 2009 and since abandoned, in need of a rebuild. Buyers should vet every listing before serious contact.

What GlobalBX does not guarantee

The terms describe GlobalBX as a venue only. It does not confirm users’ identities and has no control over the accuracy of listings, the legality of transactions or either party’s ability to close. There is no escrow or handover help, and the site names no company or address.
