xBilling review: flat-fee Bitcoin payments, unfinished site

xbilling.net

xBilling.Net sells Bitcoin payment processing as a flat subscription rather than a cut of each sale: $24.95 a month on-chain, $49.95 with the Lightning Network. It is run by SCREW Holdings, LLC of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a domain registered in October 2025.

Our verdict on xBilling

The pitch suits a high-volume Bitcoin merchant: above about $5,000 a month, a flat fee beats a 0.5% gateway like Plisio. The offer covers online stores, tip buttons, invoices and an in-person payment screen.

The site does not back the pitch yet. Most pages besides the homepage are leftover WordPress template content, the terms describe a magazine subscription, and there is no technical documentation. Book the free demo and ask for merchant references before connecting a store.

xBilling pricing

On-chain Bitcoin processing costs $24.95 a month or $199 a year, and adding Lightning raises it to $49.95 a month or $399 a year, with no per-sale fee. A one-month setup fee may apply. The yearly plans save about a third.

When a flat fee beats a percentage

At $1,000 a month in Bitcoin sales, the basic plan costs 2.5% of revenue, five times Plisio’s rate. At $5,000 the two are about even, and at $20,000 the flat fee drops to roughly 0.12%. Lightning is priced for creators and microtransactions, but at $49.95 a month it only pays off on steady volume.

What xBilling advertises

xBilling describes a non-custodial platform where every payment goes straight from customer to merchant, on-chain or over Lightning. It advertises a screen-based payment terminal for shops and events, “Pay with Bitcoin” buttons for tips and donations, invoices with payment links, and checkout connections for WooCommerce, Shopify and BigCommerce. Monero and Dogecoin are listed too. Adult content appears only in the terms, which call for arbitrators experienced in the adult entertainment or e-commerce industries. No sales page mentions it, and the pitch targets businesses that payment processors refuse.

Warning signs on the xBilling site

Outside the homepage, the site is largely an unedited WordPress theme. The About page describes a marketing agency, the contact page lists a template address in Washington state, and the blog holds only sample posts. The terms of use, updated in October 2025, mostly cover print and digital subscriptions and a three-day trial, and say nothing about Bitcoin processing. The domain was registered on 23 October 2025. SCREW Holdings, LLC lists an address at 402 NE 7th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, a phone number and a support email. No licence is cited.

xBilling strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • A flat monthly fee, nothing per sale.
  • Lightning support for small payments.
  • Store connectors for WooCommerce, Shopify and BigCommerce.

Limitations

  • An unfinished site with template pages.
  • Terms that do not describe the service.
  • A domain under a year old.
  • Adult named only in the terms.

xBilling vs BTCPay Server

BTCPay Server does the same job for free, Lightning included, as open-source software you host or rent. Plisio charges 0.5% with no subscription. xBilling only makes sense at several thousand dollars a month, once its site is finished.
