SponsorChat review: what $299 a year buys on the board

sponsorchat.com

SponsorChat is a small English-language board for adult webmasters, running on phpBB since February 2018 and managed by its admin, TheButcher. Its single discussion forum holds 9,167 threads. Guests can read everything, and any commercial post needs a paid campaign, priced from $199 to $699.

Our verdict on SponsorChat

SponsorChat makes sense for an affiliate program, ad network or adult service provider that wants a cheap, fixed-price thread in front of webmasters, and $299 keeps that thread up for a year. Eleven companies currently pay for a campaign, including HilltopAds, Xeve and TrainwreckContent.

As a place to learn or find partners, it is thin. Everything happens in one forum, where SEO and traffic trade threads sit next to health, dating and celebrity gossip, and no company is named behind the site. A US affiliate looking for depth will get more out of GFY.

SponsorChat ad campaigns and prices

Free commercial posting ended on SponsorChat on January 1, 2023, and every promotion now goes through one of four priced campaigns.

  • Campaign 1, $199 for three months or $299 for twelve months on special: one thread where the advertiser can post as often as it likes.
  • Campaign 2, same prices: a listing in the business directory.
  • Campaign 3, $399 for one month or $599 for three months on special: the thread, the directory listing, a Premier Listings thread, text links, bottom 728 × 90 banners, a highlighted username, contact form referrals and threads the admin forwards.
  • Campaign 4, $499 for one month or $699 for three months on special: everything in campaign 3, plus top banners, a rotating avatar on member posts without one, and a mailer sent to every registered member.

A fifth option, a full board skin, has no listed price. Prices can change without notice but stay fixed for the period paid, and the thread is locked and removed when the campaign ends.

The twelve-month thread works out to under $25 a month, which covers a program that only needs to post updates and payout news.

Who advertises on SponsorChat

Premier Listings holds eleven advertiser threads, most of them bumped in late September 2026. The directory sorts them by trade: Black Velvet Cash, TAC Amateurs, Xeve and NSFW Story among programs, HilltopAds and AdultBoost for traffic, Host4Porn and Webline-Services for hosting, Adult Site Broker and Two Guys Domains for domains, plus TrainwreckContent, Express Writers and the tube script Tubes Booster.

An advertiser will share that page with its competitors. A webmaster shopping for a vendor will find a short list.

How active is SponsorChat?

SponsorChat gets new posts every day, all in Adult Business Chat, which counts 9,167 threads over 262 pages. Traffic, link, banner and push offers go there too, along with domains and sites for sale, with one thread per person and one bump a week.

In early October 2026 the first page mixed trade questions, such as which TLD ranks best for a porn site, bounce rates since June and living with Cloudflare, with off-topic threads on health, ex-girlfriends, Costco sales and celebrities. The longest thread is a game, "the last person to post in this thread wins", at 2,535 replies.

The header says "Since 2004". The current board opened on February 1, 2018, and TheButcher, who joined the next day, has 17,405 posts.

SponsorChat sign-up and rules

Every new SponsorChat account is moderated and goes live after the member posts in the rules thread. The admin can refuse or delete any user, and each person gets one account.

Posts must be in English. Links to other boards are banned, and so are gambling, escort sites and incest. Anyone in a linked image must look at least 25, whatever the 2257 paperwork says. Nothing is uploaded to the server, so images are links only. Signatures are capped at 468 × 60 for non-advertisers, and avatars, between 150 and 190 pixels square, must carry no nudity.

Members also get board and advertiser emails unless they opt out through the contact form. SponsorChat takes no responsibility for deals made there, so a domain sale found on the board is better closed through Escrow.com.

SponsorChat strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Published ad prices, from $199 to $699.
  • A year-long promo thread for under $25 a month.

  • One discussion forum, with off-topic threads filling the first page.
  • No free promotion, even for active members.
  • No company or address behind the board.
  • Gambling and escort sites banned from posts and links.

SponsorChat vs GFY and XBIZ.net

GFY has 1,268,579 threads and separate buy and sell sections, with ad rates on request. XBIZ.net keeps promotion for XBIZ advertisers and lists no rates. SponsorChat is the smallest of the three, with its prices in the open.
