MobiusPay merchant accounts for adult AI apps

MobiusPay has a dedicated offer for AI companion and chatbot apps, NSFW image and video generators, voice and avatar tools, and AI-based creator marketplaces. Accounts can bill by subscription, prepaid token or credit packs, or per generation, with automatic retries on failed payments.

Its fraud rules target stolen-card token farming, bot signups and synthetic identities. It also gives guidance on age verification and content provenance records, which acquiring banks increasingly expect from these platforms.

Adult businesses MobiusPay works with

The adult list covers membership and subscription sites, video streaming, cams, dating, content creators, photography, adult education, phone entertainment and adult toy stores, online or in person. Discreet billing descriptors, recurring billing and trial conversions are included.

For membership sites, the MobiusPay gateway is added as a biller in NATS, the TooMuchMedia affiliate platform, following a three-step guide.

How a MobiusPay application works

MobiusPay does not process payments itself: it prepares your file and submits it to a suitable acquiring bank, then helps your developers connect the site. The footer of every page reads “MobiusPay Inc. is a registered ISO/MSP of Merrick Bank, South Jordan, UT.”

You need government ID for every owner with 25% or more, formation documents, three months of bank statements, a voided check or bank letter, three to six months of processing statements if you have them, and a live site with a privacy policy, terms and clear billing terms. No approval time is given.

MobiusPay pricing for adult merchants

No rate, reserve, payout schedule or chargeback fee is published for adult accounts. The adult page still promises “Clear terms on rolling reserves and other charges”. The merchant agreement is not online, only the website’s terms of use.

The fee calculator advertises interchange-plus pricing with no setup or cancellation fees and no long-term contracts. It offers only Canada and the United States, and no adult or high-risk industry.

Payments, currencies and fraud tools

MobiusPay accepts cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, SEPA, buy now pay later, and Bitcoin, Ethereum or USDT with instant conversion to fiat. Pay-outs to creators or affiliates are possible where the bank allows them.

Chargeback tools include RDR, Verifi, Ethoca, 3-D Secure 2.0 and Visa Order Insight. Its figures do not match across pages: 66 currencies on the home page, 120+ on the adult page, and 125+ integrations against thirteen logos on the plugins page. Settlement is described only for a US merchant, paid in dollars into a US bank account.

Who runs MobiusPay

MobiusPay Inc. is based at 360 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg, Florida, and claims over 2 billion transactions since 2010. Five executives are named with their backgrounds. The CFO ran merchant acquiring at Provident Bank from 1992 to 2005 and sold its ISO portfolio to Merrick Bank.
