Is Vendo legit?
Vendo is the billing service of Vendo Services GmbH, a Swiss company registered in Obwalden and based in Engelberg, with an EU representative in Barcelona. It bills buyers on behalf of adult sites, holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification and works through partner acquiring banks, so it publishes no payment license of its own. Its client testimonials include an Aylo payments director and a former MindGeek COO.
Buyers sometimes find charges labeled “Vendostore*” followed by a merchant name. The VendoStore is Vendo’s catalog of products sold through its platform, which is why its name shows on the statement. Vendo supports subscription sites, fan platforms, dating, streaming, adult AI, creators and adult toy stores, with tipping, pay-per-view and one-click purchases.
Payment methods your buyers get with Vendo
Vendo takes Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and Google Pay, plus PIX in Brazil, OXXO in Mexico, Interac in Canada, PayGarden gift cards in the US, SEPA and Pay by Bank in Europe, and crypto. American Express and UnionPay can’t be used for adult, and Chinese issuers decline adult transactions. Buyers are accepted in more than 150 countries, prices are set in their local currency from their location, and checkout runs in 23 languages.
Pay by Bank has two catches: it can’t carry a subscription, so a trial that would roll into a monthly plan becomes a one-month purchase, and it can’t be refunded.
Vendo fees: €1,450 per acquirer, paid upfront
Vendo charges €950 for Visa and €500 for Mastercard each year at every acquiring bank where you are registered, and a new merchant pays the first year before the account opens. Two banks means paying twice. From the second year the amount comes out of your payouts, usually in September for Visa and on your registration anniversary for Mastercard. That is €1,450 per bank, against $1,950 at CCBill.
The processing rate isn’t published: you download the contract at the end of the online application. Chargeback fees vary by acquirer and payment method.
Vendo payout schedule and reserve
Vendo issues a payout advice every Wednesday for a Monday-to-Sunday sales week that closed ten days earlier, so a sale waits 10 to 16 days. The Wednesday, January 17 advice covered sales from January 1 to 7. Wires only go out once your balance reaches 500 in dollars or euros, so a site billing $250 a month gets paid every other month.
Payout advices come in three currencies by default, USD, EUR and GBP, and your bank account has to accept all three unless you ask for conversion into one. Paxum is available on request. The rolling reserve lasts six months and comes back monthly. The bank sets its percentage, which isn’t published.
For EU sales, Vendo calculates VAT based on the country the buyer selects but doesn’t remit it, so you file and pay EU VAT yourself.
Fraud and chargeback tools
Every transaction gets a score from Vendo’s in-house machine learning model, which triggers 3-D Secure, a block or manual review. Vendo handles Ethoca and Verifi alerts itself and refunds on Visa TC40 and Mastercard SAFE fraud reports before they turn into chargebacks. When a card is reported lost or stolen, every charge from the previous two months is refunded automatically, and Vendo’s team contacts buyers who filed a chargeback by email or phone.
Who can sign up with Vendo
Vendo accepts companies incorporated in 48 countries: most of Europe, the UK, the US, Israel and Turkey. Canada, India, Brazil, Mexico and Australia are not on the list, and neither is Italy. US companies go through US acquiring banks, European ones through European banks, and Vendo can also board a freelancer.
Onboarding needs full company and beneficial owner details, with passports and utility bills, and takes 1 to 2 days to create the account, 3 to 5 days for document review and 3 to 5 days for bank registration. Integration runs through hosted pages, an API, NATS, or WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Magento plugins. Merchant support covers US and European business hours, with a 24-hour line for urgent issues. Vendo itself suggests keeping about 10% of your volume with your previous biller as a backup.

Vendo vs Segpay and CCBill
Segpay pays out from 125 and caps its reserve at 5%, but has no PIX or OXXO. CCBill pays every Monday and accepts Canadian companies. If your buyers are in Brazil or Mexico, Vendo is the one of the three that reaches them with local methods. A small US site gets paid sooner elsewhere.
