What MyCryptoCheckout costs
The free licence handles 5 sales a month, and the unlimited licence costs $79 a year. No fee is taken on payments. Bulk pricing exists for several domains, with discounts for charities and developing countries. The publisher does not usually issue refunds.
How MyCryptoCheckout works
Buyers pay from their wallet to the merchant’s, with no middleman or redirect, and the publisher never touches the funds. A MyCryptoCheckout server watches the blockchains and reports each payment to the site. It receives only the site URL and the plugin version. The plugin requires no KYC.
Supported coins
MyCryptoCheckout claims 100+ coins, including bitcoin, ether, Monero, Solana, Tron, XRP, Algorand and Stellar. Tokens on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base follow, with USDT and USDC. A project can request its own coin be added.
The buyer’s checkout
Buyers pay in one click with MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom or Electrum. For some coins, the order is confirmed as soon as the transaction hits the mempool, with no wait for confirmations. HD wallets generate one address per order, and a donation widget fits on any page.
Automatic conversion
An option instantly converts received coins into USD, USDC, USDT or TUSD through Binance. The plugin also offers Bittrex, an exchange that has since shut down. It helps avoid volatility. Without it, funds stay in crypto in the merchant’s wallet.
The publisher behind MyCryptoCheckout
MyCryptoCheckout LLC publishes the plugin with no country or address given, and the code is released under GPLv3. The service dates from 2018 and claims 8,000+ active stores, a figure WordPress.org confirms. The plugin is at version 2.172.
