EuroDNS review: a European registrar for adult domains

eurodns.com

EuroDNS is a Luxembourg registrar selling .com at €10.99 the first year, €21 on renewal and €22 from November 1, 2026. .xxx costs €150 a year, .porn, .adult and .sex €175, and registrant contacts must be verified every year.

Our take on EuroDNS

EuroDNS makes sense for an adult webmaster who specifically wants an EU-based registrar and is willing to pay for it. For a US buyer the prices are in euros and well above American registrars, especially on adult extensions at up to €175 a year.

The heavier constraint is paperwork: registrant email and phone are verified every year, and unverified domains can be suspended. Anyone keeping a low profile should weigh that before price.

Adult extension prices at EuroDNS

.xxx costs €150 a year at EuroDNS, and .porn, .adult and .sex €175 each, with the same price to register, renew or transfer. None of them is on the list of price changes for October and November. The .xxx registry also requires your date of birth, acceptance of its terms and membership of its Sponsored Community. WHOIS privacy and DNSSEC are available on all four.

The .com renewal doubles, then rises

A .com costs €10.99 excluding VAT the first year, then €21 to renew or transfer, rising to €22 on November 1, 2026. Over three years that is €54.99, against the €10.99 shown at checkout. Reactivating an expired domain costs €25 on top of the renewal.

Yearly contact verification

EuroDNS verifies the email and phone of both the account holder and the registrant when you register, renew or transfer, then every year. Phones are checked by SMS or voice call, and a landline must be answered by a person, not voicemail. New domains do not activate until verified, and existing ones may be suspended.

WHOIS privacy is extra

Hiding your WHOIS details costs €5 a year per domain at EuroDNS. Prices are shown excluding VAT, which an EU buyer then adds.

Is EuroDNS legit?

Yes. EuroDNS S.A. is an ICANN-accredited registrar based in Luxembourg, part of the Namespace group, and has managed domain registrations since 2002. Reviews on Reddit, G2 and HostAdvice mostly complain about price, which the renewal figures above explain.

EuroDNS strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • An EU-based registrar.
  • Flat yearly pricing on the four adult extensions.
  • DNSSEC and privacy on adult extensions.

Limitations

  • .com renewal doubles, then €22 from November.
  • Adult extensions up to €175 a year.
  • Paid WHOIS privacy.
  • Yearly email and phone checks.

EuroDNS vs Dynadot

Dynadot sells .com at $10.88 a year with no renewal increase, adult extensions at €48.96 the first year then €92.83, and includes WHOIS privacy. EuroDNS costs far more, but keeps your domains with an EU company.
