BranditScan review: is $69 a month worth it for creators?

branditscan.com

BranditScan is a DMCA takedown service run from Quebec for adult creators, OnlyFans agencies and studios. Premium costs $69 a month and runs hourly scans with facial recognition and automatic takedowns. Google lists 380.9 million URLs reported by the company, 63% of them removed.

Our verdict on BranditScan

BranditScan is worth the money for a creator with up to three stage names who wants takedowns sent without lifting a finger, as long as you keep your own safelist up to date. Hourly scans, facial recognition, Reddit, X and Instagram removals and Google delisting all come with the entry plan.

It is a weaker fit if you want a long free trial, since only the first scan is free, or if a share of your fans search on Bing, which no plan mentions. Studios get a per-paysite plan and agencies a shared dashboard with volume discounts.

Is BranditScan legit?

Yes. BranditScan is run by BranditScan Inc., based in Candiac near Montreal, with offices in North Miami, Florida, and Saint Michael, Barbados, and its takedown volume is public on Google. The Google Transparency Report entry the company links to, under the name DMCA Piracy Prevention Inc, shows 380,932,701 URLs reported in 5,891,547 requests. Google removed 239,816,682 of them. Another 136,325,497, or 35.8%, were not in Google’s index to begin with, so those requests changed nothing in search results.

The marketing figures are less consistent. BranditScan claims 15 years in the industry, since 2011, yet branditscan.com was registered in August 2020 and the company counts its OnlyFans takedown notices from October 2020. Its pricing page quotes a 4.6 Trustpilot rating and its agency page 4.8. Trustpilot itself shows 4.5 from 69 reviews on a claimed profile with a paid subscription, and the most recent negative review says removed content came back as re-uploads and hidden files.

Treat glowing Reddit threads and creator videos with some caution: BranditScan pays its users to post them. Its earnings hub offers $10 per post in model and piracy communities (listed as “Redditor for Hire”), $50 per video review on X and Instagram, $100 per YouTube video and $0.60 per automatic post on X. That matters when you search for BranditScan reviews on Reddit.

The company works openly with the adult industry, publishes takedown guides for OnlyFans, Fansly, ManyVids, Chaturbate and JustForFans, is led by CEO Jean-Noel Sciretta and answers at +1 855 648 5517.

BranditScan pricing: Premium or White Glove

Premium costs $69 a month or $690 a year, and White Glove $149 a month or $1,490 a year. A first-time Premium subscriber pays $34.50 for the first month, then the full rate, with no coupon code needed. Annual billing works out to two months free.

A creator with five stage names pays $79 on Premium, so White Glove only makes sense when you want someone else to watch the account. The concierge reaches out within 24 hours of the upgrade and pushes scans on new releases. Both plans bundle UrLinks Pro, a link-in-bio page sold separately at $20 a month.

The seven-day free trial that older reviews still mention is gone. What remains is a free first scan with no card and a free onboarding call. Members on the legacy $45 plan keep that rate while their subscription stays active or paused.

Payment runs through Stripe with Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Every plan renews automatically, cancellation happens in the dashboard and coverage runs to the end of the paid period. A 30-day pause is offered instead. Only annual plans are refundable, within 10 days of payment and only if the service has not been used. Coupon payments, a valid counter-notice accepted by the host and hosts in countries that ignore the DMCA are excluded.

How BranditScan finds and removes leaks

BranditScan scans Google, Reddit, Telegram, tube sites, torrents and site-rip forums every hour, then files DMCA notices to leak sites, mirrors and file hosts on its own. If a host does not act, the notice is escalated in several rounds. Face matching, watermarks and page text catch renamed or cropped videos, and impersonator accounts on Instagram, X and Reddit are reported through each network’s own process.

Setup takes your stage names and a face photo. The service then links your OnlyFans, Fansly, ManyVids, X and Instagram accounts and tracks new releases as they go live. You can also paste links you find yourself, with no cap.

Automatic notices without human review can hit a legitimate page, such as a promo account, a clip store or a partner site. The terms put that on you: you manage your keywords and safelist, and BranditScan is not responsible for the outcome of auto-takedowns. Add every platform you sell on to the safelist before switching them on.

For a US creator, the DMCA works best against US hosts. A page hosted offshore can stay up even after Google delists it, and BranditScan does not promise to find every copy.

Plans for OnlyFans agencies and studios

Agencies pay the Premium rate per creator, billed monthly by seat, with 5% off from 5 creators, 10% at 10, 15% at 20, 20% at 100, 30% at 250 and 50% at 500. One dashboard switches between creator accounts, queues bulk takedowns, copies a template safelist onto each new creator and generates PDF reports under the agency’s brand. Each agency gets a private Slack channel with the team, or Telegram and WhatsApp. In return, the terms make the agency responsible for safelists and for written approval from every model.

Studios pay $149 per paysite per month for unlimited takedowns and Google delisting, a daily catalog scan and 200 performer scans. A custom tier covers several paysites, priority processing and custom integrations. Platforms can embed the leak check widget for free and request the API or a white-label takedown form by email.

The BranditScan referral program

The affiliate program pays 10% of every payment your referrals make, for life, in US dollars through Cosmo Payment or as credit on your own bill. A free account is enough to get a link, with no paid plan or approval step, and the program is open to webmasters, bloggers and traffic affiliates as well as creators.

If your site talks to creators, the leak check widget installs with one snippet: a visitor types her stage name, sees her leaks and signs up through your link. BranditScan calls that rate the floor and offers higher rates on volume to platforms, agencies and large audiences. The terms let it change the program at its discretion.

BranditScan strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Hourly scans and automatic takedowns on the entry plan.
  • Facial recognition for cropped leaks and fake profiles.
  • Reddit, X and Instagram removals included in Premium.
  • Public Google volume, with 63% of reported URLs removed.
  • Per-paysite studio plan and agency discounts up to 50%.

Limitations

  • No multi-day trial, only a free first scan.
  • No refunds on monthly plans.
  • You carry the risk of wrong auto-takedowns and must maintain the safelist.
  • No Bing delisting in any plan.
  • Inconsistent marketing figures on company age and ratings.
  • Paid user posts on Reddit, X and YouTube.

BranditScan vs Rulta and TakeDownfy

Rulta starts at $139 a month plus VAT for a single username, scans every 30 minutes and delists from Bing as well. TakeDownfy only scans hourly on its $199 Elite plan. For a creator with two or three stage names who mainly needs Google cleaned up, BranditScan is the cheaper way to get hourly scans. If Bing traffic matters to you, Rulta covers it.
