TakeDownfy review: weekly, daily or hourly scans

takedownfy.com

TakeDownfy is a DMCA takedown service for creators and agencies, run by Takedownfy OÜ, an Estonian company registered in March 2026. Plans cost $69, $119 and $199 a month, with scans running weekly, daily or hourly depending on the tier.

Our verdict on TakeDownfy

TakeDownfy makes sense on the Enforce plan, at $119 a month, for an agency or a creator who wants daily scans, three usernames, Bing, X, Reddit, impersonator removal and deepfakes. The entry plan only scans once a week and covers neither Bing nor social media.

The company is very new and its pages contradict each other on pricing and features, so get what your plan includes confirmed in writing.

TakeDownfy plans: Protect, Enforce and Elite

Scan frequency drives the price: Protect at $69 scans every 7 days, Enforce at $119 every 24 hours and Elite at $199 every 60 minutes. Yearly billing takes 20% off.

  • Protect: one username, Google Search and Images, manual removal requests.
  • Enforce: three usernames, Bing, X and Reddit, impersonators on any network and deepfakes.
  • Elite: unlimited usernames, Telegram, a dedicated agent and legal expert checking.

Payment runs through Stripe by Visa, Mastercard or American Express. You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the billing period. Payments are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, any trial is limited to one per person, and prices may be shown before VAT. Support promises replies within 24 hours, and within 6 hours for takedown requests.

Where TakeDownfy’s pages disagree

  • The home page says plans start at “$39/month”, but the cheapest costs $69.
  • The Protect card lists social media, while the FAQ reserves it for Enforce and Elite.
  • The comparison grid ticks facial recognition on Protect, while the Enforce card presents it as an Enforce feature.
  • The home page claims 1M+ URLs submitted to Google and a 98% approval rate. Google’s copyright transparency report credits Takedownfy with 2,370 URLs across 18 requests, of which 2,060 were removed from Search, or 87%.
  • That report shows requests from late August 2025, seven months before the company was registered, and none after April 16, 2026.
  • The 500,000+ links removed and 1.7M source sites come with no method.

The TakeDownfy referral program

TakeDownfy’s referral program pays 20% of net revenue from referred customers for as long as they stay subscribed. The minimum payout is $50, payouts require identity verification, and the commission drops if the customer downgrades. TakeDownfy also has a cam model page covering Chaturbate, Stripchat, MyFreeCams, LiveJasmin and others, where it promises removal of recorded shows within 48 hours.

Who runs TakeDownfy

Takedownfy OÜ is registered in Estonia under number 17461633 at Sepapaja tn 6 in Tallinn, and its terms date from the same month as its registration. It presents itself as a Google Trusted Copyright Reporter with a two-hour average removal time, without linking to proof, and says it was built by agency owners for agencies.

TakeDownfy strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Daily scans and three usernames on Enforce.
  • Hourly scans and an agent on Elite.
  • 20% recurring referral commission.

Limitations

  • Weekly scans on Protect, with no Bing or social media.
  • Very young company.
  • Contradictory pages on prices and features.
  • No refunds unless required by law.

TakeDownfy vs BranditScan and Rulta

At the same $69 entry price, BranditScan scans hourly and covers three stage names, while Protect scans weekly for one. Rulta costs $139 plus VAT but scans every 30 minutes from its entry plan. TakeDownfy becomes worth a look from Enforce up, for agencies managing several creators.
