ClickCastX review: one admin for cams, VOD and memberships

clickcastx.com

ClickCastX is a Los Angeles adult CMS that runs live cams, pay-per-view video, memberships, photo sets and a store from one admin. Hosted plans cost $199 to $399 a month, the lifetime license $9,995, and the built-in card billing keeps 10% of sales.

Our take on ClickCastX

ClickCastX suits a studio or content owner that already has a video library and wants live shows, rentals and memberships under one login. A site that only needs cam rooms will pay less with Ayazer or FluffCams.

The code is closed, so everything beyond templates and CSS stays with the vendor. Start on the $199 Standard plan, and only weigh the lifetime license once the site pays for itself.

What ClickCastX costs in the first year

A year on the hosted Standard plan costs $2,388, against $9,995 once for the lifetime license. No plan has a setup fee or a minimum term, setup can happen the same day, and an account can be paused and resumed later with its content.

  • Standard, $199 a month: one domain, 300 GB storage, 10,000 GB bandwidth, sized for about 50 models and 100 viewers at once.
  • Pro, $299 a month: unlimited domains, 2,000 GB storage, 20,000 GB bandwidth, about 100 models and 300 viewers.
  • Fans, $399 a month: a creator subscription site with paid messaging, tips and private sessions over Skype or Zoom, on one domain.
  • Lifetime license, $9,995, a limited-time sale price down from $12,999: unlimited domains, installed by ClickCastX on your own Unix server, with help setting up a payment processor.

Hosted extras are $50 a month per added domain and $10 per 100 GB of storage, so a three-site network costs the same on Standard as on Pro, which has more storage. The lifetime license needs your own server and Wowza license, both included in the monthly plans.

Selling without your own merchant account

ClickCastX can charge your customers by card through its billing partners for 10% of sales, with no setup cost. A new site can take payments before it has a high-risk merchant account of its own.

At $5,000 a month in sales, that is $500. Outside processors still plug in: one client quoted on the sales page, Norma Jene, says the team helped get her CCBill account approved and had her live in three days. Customers load credits into one wallet and spend them on private shows, rentals, downloads or store items.

The cam module and the rest of the catalog

Models sign up, go live from a phone browser without an app, set their own per-minute or block-of-time rates, run free or members-only chats, take tips, write a blog and message fans. The admin decides each model's cut. Since January 2026 a model can price VIP members differently from regular users.

Around the cams, the same admin sells per-minute or rental video, lifetime video purchases, photo sets as single sales, ZIPs or members-only galleries, watermarked downloads and physical products such as DVDs with stock and shipping rules. An affiliate program, country blocking per video, limits on simultaneous logins and multi-language templates are built in. Raw AVI, MPEG, WMV, FLV or MOV files upload in batches and encode on the server. Migrating from Elevated X or another adult CMS is a paid service.

Where the 20,000 live models come from

The 20,000+ models in ClickCastX's pitch are Visit-X performers, a Dutch video chat network added as a white-label module in December 2022. They show up under your domain and design, and your site earns a percentage of the paid per-minute sessions they run. ClickCastX does not publish that percentage.

The module fills an empty grid on launch day. Your own models are the ones whose payout split you control.

Is ClickCastX open source?

No. ClickCastX opens its template files, CSS and database, and keeps the PHP closed except for a few files in rare cases. An API lets you connect third-party tools to the front end and admin.

Colors, templates, languages and widgets change from the admin. Billing logic and module behavior change only through the vendor, which offers custom development. Upgrades are free on every plan.

ClickCastX refund terms

The monthly and lifetime licenses can be refunded within ten days of purchase, once per customer and account, minus extra services and any processing fee. Setup, design and development work is never refunded.

Dedicated server plans are not refundable under any circumstances, and the current billing cycle stays due after you cancel. The terms ask you to request the refund when you call in to cancel, yet ClickCastX publishes no phone number, only [email protected] and a Microsoft Teams handle, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm Pacific.

The software belongs to Adult Digital Solutions and PDNS Media, Inc. in Los Angeles, and clickcastx.com was registered in 2010. A tube site edition and a Fans edition sit alongside version 5.

ClickCastX strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Cams, VOD, memberships, photos and a store in one admin, paid from one credit wallet.
  • Built-in billing that lets a new site sell without a merchant account.
  • Hosting and Wowza included on monthly plans.
  • No contract, and accounts can be paused.

Limitations

  • Closed PHP code, only templates and CSS are yours to edit.
  • An expensive lifetime license that still needs a server and Wowza.
  • A 10% cut on sales through the built-in billing.
  • An unpublished Visit-X revenue share.
  • Refunds requested by phone with no number listed, and none on dedicated servers.

ClickCastX vs Ayazer

Ayazer sells a cam script for a one-time $1,499, which you install yourself, with WebRTC streaming and per-minute billing. That price is less than eight months of ClickCastX Standard. ClickCastX makes sense when the site also sells a video and photo catalog. For cam rooms alone, Ayazer costs far less over two years.
