Can Verotel be trusted?
Verotel is a trade name of Yoursafe B.V., licensed as an electronic money institution by the Dutch central bank in 2019 after holding a payment institution license since 2011. It processed its first transaction in January 1998 and says it works with more than 50,000 webmasters. Merchant holdbacks sit with a separate Dutch escrow foundation, Stichting Geldbeheer Verotel.
Two points weigh on the record. In February 2026 the Dutch central bank imposed a €12,500 penalty order on Yoursafe for filing its 2024 audited accounts late. On Trustpilot, Verotel scores 1.8 out of 5 from 15 reviews, all one star, with merchants citing slow onboarding and unresponsive support.
What Verotel charges per sale
On Basic, Verotel keeps 15.5% of each sale, and every rebill after the first payment costs 1.5 points more, so 17%. On a monthly membership priced at 29.95, you keep 25.31 on the first charge and 24.86 on each renewal. There are no per-item chargeback or refund fees.
Once you pass 50 transactions in four weeks, a chargeback ratio of 1% or more adds 2.5 points to the base rate, taking a Basic rebill to 19.5%. Basic also carries a €500 annual fee for Visa and Mastercard registration and compliance monitoring, waived if you process at least €100 a week on the renewal date. CCBill charges $1,950 a year for the same registrations.
Choosing a Verotel plan
Premium cuts the rate on a weekly volume scale, from 14.0% up to €1,000 a week down to 13.0% above €40,000, and drops the annual fee. It needs six months of processing statements and at least €100 in weekly sales, and charges €25 a week while you stay under €1,000. Each Saturday the next week’s rate is set from your average over the previous four weeks.
Premium is also where cam billing, local-currency pricing and FlexPay live. FlexPay sends any amount and description to the order page, which is how cam and token sites sell credits. Both plans let you use your own descriptor.
Verotel payouts and the 26-week holdback
You get an invoice every Monday, and a positive balance is paid 14 days after the invoice date. Funds land in a Yoursafe business account, which Verotel markets as daily deposits, and from there you send money by SEPA, wire, US ACH or US check. The same account pays performers into Yoursafe Talent accounts, one by one, in bulk or automatically.
Verotel holds 10% of every charge for 26 weeks on all plans and can raise it. Payouts come in USD, EUR or GBP. The sample agreement lists $2.50 for a US check, no fee for US ACH and $30 for international wires, while the rate card calls Yoursafe transfers free, so confirm what applies to you. After you cancel, anything not yet invoiced is paid six months after the last invoice. If an account is suspended, the holdback becomes claimable 30 weeks later and is forfeited if you don’t claim it within 12 weeks. Checks expire after 30 weeks.
What is a Verotel payment on a statement?
A Verotel charge is a purchase from a website that bills through Verotel, and buyers can look it up, recover their login or cancel at vtsup.com. For the merchant, Verotel takes Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Discover and Diners Club, US checks, and direct debit in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Slovakia. Buyers pay in nine currencies, including the US, Canadian and Australian dollar. Every transaction runs through Verotel’s Veronica fraud screening, which cross-checks more than 200 data sources.
Subscriber management uses the RUM script for ASP and Perl, which Verotel installs for free on request. OpenAffiliate and NATS4 compatibility come with every account.

Verotel vs CCBill and Segpay
CCBill and Segpay quote their rates privately and only sign businesses in North America, Europe or, for Segpay, Australia. Segpay caps its reserve at 5% for six months. A US company can get all three quotes and compare them with Verotel’s published grid. A company registered in India or Brazil can only use Verotel of the three.
