How FriendFinder Networks pays affiliates

FriendFinder Networks pays weekly once you reach $50, by check, wire, ACH or Paxum, in US dollars. The agreement is more cautious, describing payment about 30 days after the end of the calendar month, and the private pay-per-lead plan pays Net 30. Smaller balances carry over.

A voided and reissued check can carry a service fee, and checks not cashed within six months can be voided. If you earn less than the threshold over six months, Medley may charge an account maintenance fee of up to $500 per six-month period, taken from unpaid commissions.

Tax forms and KYC before your first payout

Nothing is paid until FriendFinder Networks has your tax and identity documents, due within 60 days of signing up. US payees file a W-9, international affiliates a W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E, and you may be asked for a passport or ID, a bank statement and a utility bill. Medley says it rarely withholds tax, but can withhold up to 30% in some cases, such as backup withholding on a W-9. An account with no documents and no traffic for a year is terminated.

FriendFinder Networks credits only the browser session

A sale counts only if the visitor creates an account during the session opened by your click. The cookie generally expires when the browser closes, so a visitor who comes back the next day through a bookmark earns you nothing, and links without your GPID or PID cannot be credited. You can add sub IDs with “.sub”, ask for a server postback or pixel, and use the in-house landing page optimizer. Stats update every 15 minutes.

AdultFriendFinder payout plans

One account, identified by a GPID, covers AdultFriendFinder, FriendFinder, ALT, OutPersonals for gay dating, niche sites such as Passion, SwapFinder, TSDates and XMatch, and cam sites like Cams and Streamray. AdultFriendFinder itself offers four plans:

The percentage plan starts at 35% below 10 daily uniques and reaches 75% at 200 sign-ups a day. Co-branded links, which show your logo on the AdultFriendFinder page, pay less at every tier. Orders under $10 earn nothing on the flat plans, and orders paid by prepaid, gift or virtual cards move to the percentage plan. The per-country plan only pays orders made with a “standard” payment source that can auto-renew.

Traffic FriendFinder Networks bans

Email promotion is banned outright, even to opted-in lists, and so is bidding on FriendFinder brand keywords. Domains that include the network’s brands are off limits, your site’s WHOIS must be public and accurate, and chat and incentive traffic are refused.
