Sponsored rule versus dofollow listings on OpenBacklinks
OpenBacklinks asks for every paid link to carry rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", in line with Google’s guidance. The adult page and the home page both say so.
The catalog tells a different story: nearly every adult listing is labeled a dofollow guest post, and the filters include “Dofollow” and “No sponsored tag”. Get the exact link attribute in writing from the seller before you pay. A paid dofollow link still breaks Google’s guidelines.
Adult link prices on OpenBacklinks
The adult backlinks page gives price ranges as a guide. Each owner then sets an actual price.
| Link type | Typical price |
|---|---|
| Sitewide footer link | €30 to €100 |
| Sponsored post | €50 to €200 |
| Guest post with link | €80 to €250 |
| Contextual link in an article | €100 to €400 |
| Link swap | Free |
Prices are in euros, so a US buyer pays in a foreign currency. The members-only catalog holds 13,591 sites in 113 countries, with an average price of 157 credits. 4,851 of them accept adult content, and the Adult category lists 32 adult sites: the cheapest sells for €8, most sit between €20 and €200, and the top listing asks €1,200. Most are French, German or American, with a few in India, Croatia, Greece, Spain and South Africa.
Fees for buyers and sellers
Buyers load credits, one credit to the euro, and pay a top-up fee: 6.5% by card, credited instantly, or 5% by invoice on 14-day terms. There is no subscription and no markup on listings. When you order, the credits leave your balance and stay in escrow. The seller publishes, submits the live URL, and gets paid only after you verify and approve the link.

Sellers pay 0% commission on sales, but cashing out costs 5%: withdrawing 100 credits nets €95. Payouts start at 100 eligible credits, need identity and bank verification, and go through a seven-day review hold. Bonus credits cannot be withdrawn. Members can also swap links with each other for free.
Is OpenBacklinks legit?
OpenBacklinks is very new: its domain was registered on 14 July 2026 and its launch press release went out on 31 August 2026. The company behind it is identified, and every order runs through escrow. OpenBacklinks calls itself a non-profit, built and funded by Moody Media AB, a Stockholm company that has done editorial link building since December 2019. It publishes its Swedish company number, 559287-1478, its VAT number and its registered office in Bromma. The non-profit label is carried by a commercial company.
ScamAdviser’s automated check flags the site as a possible risk, citing a low Tranco traffic rank. The marketplace comparison on moodymedia.io that ranks OpenBacklinks second is published by the same company that funds it.
