When and how Chaturbate pays its affiliates

Chaturbate closes two pay periods a month, the 1st to the 15th and the 16th to month end, and sends payment within seven business days of each close once your balance is above $50. You can raise your own threshold as high as $50,000 to batch payments, and a balance below it rolls into the next period. Everything is paid in US dollars.

A US affiliate has two fee-free options, ACH and a mailed check. Paxum is the cheap route almost everywhere else, though it is closed to India, which leaves an Indian affiliate with crypto at $35 to $45 a payout or a check that takes two to four weeks to arrive. Reissuing a lost payment costs $10.

The ID and tax paperwork before your first Chaturbate payout

No commission is paid until you prove you are of legal age, and the payout claim can ask for your legal name, a photo ID, mailing address, date of birth, phone number and Social Security number. Depending on how much you have earned, Chaturbate may also want a notarized declaration of eligibility, a liability release and an IRS Form W-9. Missing documents can cost you the unpaid balance.

US citizens and residents who earn $600 or more in a tax year receive a 1099-MISC by email each January, issued under the company name with no mention of Chaturbate. Affiliates outside the US should ask support which form replaces the W-9 before they reach the threshold.

Revenue share or pay per sign-up at Chaturbate

Every Chaturbate link code carries one plan, so you can run revenue share on your review pages and the flat sign-up fee on bought traffic at the same time. Revenue share pays 20% of what each referred user spends, net of chargebacks and uncollectable amounts. No end date is written into the terms, and each later purchase by that user is reported to you with the same tracking data as the sign-up.

The sign-up fee depends on where the visitor lives. Free registration needs no email address or credit card.

• Tier 1, $1 per sign-up: 32 territories, including the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Japan.
• Tier 2, $0.10: 22 territories, including Brazil, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Hong Kong and Puerto Rico.
• Tier 3, $0.01: 30 territories, including Mexico, Poland, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
• Everywhere else, nothing: India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria and South Africa among them.

Chaturbate can change the amounts and move countries between tiers without notice. A third plan pays in tokens, up to 10 per sign-up, and is meant for broadcasters sharing their link from their own room.

Chaturbate’s click-only cookie lasts about a month

Since April 2025 Chaturbate sets its affiliate cookie only when a visitor clicks your link, and the cookie lasts about a month or until the visitor clears it. “Engaged hits” replaced unique hits as the main stat. Some review sites quote a 120-day cookie, a figure Chaturbate does not publish. Others quote 15%: JerkDude lists that rate for a Chaturbate offer run through the CrakRevenue network, a lower rate than the direct program.

For tracking, the track parameter is capped at 10,000 values per affiliate and campaign, and sid carries a session or click ID. Dynamic postbacks fire by GET or POST to a separate URL per conversion type, can be signed with a validation salt and retry up to six times. The payout macro turns negative on a chargeback, so refunds reach your tracker as negative conversions. Static postbacks remain supported with no end date.

Is the Chaturbate affiliate program legit?

Yes. Chaturbate has run since 2011 under Multi Media, LLC, a company with a published address in Lake Forest, California, and it pays affiliates on a fixed twice-monthly schedule. When a BlackHatWorld member asked in November 2022 whether the program was a scam after reading about late payments, the affiliates who replied said it paid on time as long as the traffic followed the rules.

The real risk is clawback. Chaturbate alone decides whether a referral looks fraudulent, and a referral it rejects earns nothing. Bidding on the brand, email marketing or advertising where adult offers are not allowed closes the account and forfeits the unpaid balance.

Earning from broadcaster and webmaster referrals

Each independent broadcaster you bring in pays a one-time $50 once they pass age verification and earn $20 broadcasting, and each referred webmaster pays you 5% of their affiliate earnings. The terms let Chaturbate change that earnings threshold at will. Studio accounts do not qualify, and no special link is needed, since any of your link codes credits the referral.

Disputes do happen. In a 2023 AmberCutie thread a broadcaster said support refused her bonuses on the grounds that her recruits were alternate accounts, which she denied. A model-recruiting site should keep its own record of who signed up and when.

Chaturbate’s promo tools and white label

The promo tools include two versions of an online rooms API, cam listing iframes, a single embeddable room, pre-roll videos, banners sorted by gender or for broadcaster recruitment, instant-messenger ads, a pop-up script, text ads and RSS or Atom feeds. Live content can only be shown while the broadcaster is online, and storing it afterward needs the broadcaster’s own permission.

The white label is free, created from your affiliate account and served on your own domain. You set the colors, the featured gender and a logo up to 400 by 65 pixels, animated GIFs under 2 MB included. A CNAME or TXT record proves you own the domain, a www CNAME then points to Chaturbate’s white label host, and HTTPS is switched on from the same tool. What a white label earns on purchases made inside it is not published, so get that confirmed before you build a domain around it.

Promotion that gets a Chaturbate affiliate account closed

• Bidding on “Chaturbate” or a misspelling in Google Ads, Bing or any search engine, or registering a domain built on the brand.
• Email, phone, SMS or MMS marketing.
• Ads on any network or platform that does not accept this kind of advertising.
• A cam clip site, meaning a site built mostly on recorded live shows, even with the performers’ consent.

Chaturbate can also review your site and require you to pull material it dislikes to keep earning commissions.
