Our verdict on BuySellText

BuySellText works for adult webmasters who want English copy at a known per-word price, in small or bulk orders, without haggling with individual writers. Prices are public, the platform assigns the writer and you own the text once you accept it.

The catch is the prepaid balance. Unused money comes back with a 6% fee, and not at all after six months.

Can you get a refund from BuySellText?

Only partly. You can get back the unused balance from deposits made within the last six months, minus a 6% fee and any deposit bonuses. Older deposits are not refunded. Repeated refund requests can get the account closed. An order already picked up by a writer cannot be cancelled, and late delivery is not refunded, except for the 24-hour add-on when it is missed. If you are refunded for a delivered text, ownership goes back to KKDN Inc.

Canadian customers pay 13% HST on deposits, charged in US dollars.

BuySellText pricing for adult content

  • Web page copy: $4, $7, $8.
  • Blog posts, SEO articles, reviews and the rest: $3.25, $5, $8.

A 1,000-word paysite review therefore costs $40, $60 or $80. Meta descriptions and source references cost $1.50 each on Good and are included above it. Posting to WordPress, as a draft or live, is free on every level.

Which BuySellText quality level to choose

All three are written by native English speakers. Good may contain small spelling or grammar mistakes and is pitched at low-competition blogs and tier 2 content. Great gives the writer 70% more time for research and proofreading. Best is sold as ready-to-publish copy for competitive markets. For bulk video titles, Good is the budget option. For a review page meant to rank, start at Great.

Who writes the content

The About page describes an in-house, vetted team based in the US, the UK and Canada, and names co-founder Natasha Nixon. The terms describe orders fulfilled by freelance writers. Either way, you do not pick a writer at the start: the platform assigns the job. The company is KKDN Inc., its terms fall under Ontario law, and the domain dates from February 2014.
